The country star from "Burn It Down" talked about some of his best holiday memories from his childhood in Conroe, Texas.

McCollum remembered playing football with his family in his grandmother's front yard every Christmas morning when he was a teenager.

During his free time, the award-winning singer-songwriter watched his favorite Christmas movies, just like a lot of other people.

"This is going to sound kind of silly, but one of my favorite Christmas movies is definitely Annabelle's Wish,

because Randy Travis reads it," he told his record company. We watched that movie together when I was little with my mom.

Christmas Vacation is a great movie. Also, I always liked the Tim Allen show The Santa Clause. Even the newer ones, I always thought those were great.

The movie Annabelle's Wish came out in the late 1990s. Along with the "Forever and Ever, Amen" legend,

the cartoon holiday movie also stars Jerry Van Dyke, Jay Johnson, Jim Varney, Rue McClanahan, Cloris Leachman, and more
