When Man City player Kevin De Bruyne was in Saudi Arabia for the Club World Cup, burglars "turned his house upside down" and stole jewelry from him.

While the Manchester City player is in Saudi Arabia for the Club World Cup, burglars broke into Kevin De Bruyne's home in Belgium and took jewelry.

The midfield player for Manchester City and his family were robbed when intruders broke into their Zolder, Belgium, home.

Since the player is currently in Saudi Arabia with the Cityzens squad for the Club World Cup, no one was at the house when the robbery occurred.

Following an investigation, the public prosecutor's office in Limburg revealed that the heist took place on December 16 between 4 and 9 p.m. local time.

The perpetrators completely ransacked the house and left things upside down.

The robbery was discovered by De Bruyne's wife Michele Lacroix.

The Belgium international suffered a hamstring injury during the club's Champions League final against Inter in May this year.

The injury recurred during the Sky Blues' season opener against Burnley as the star player had to be subbed off early into the game.
