Tribeca Film Festival: Outlander Stars Discuss 'Epic' Season 7

Dinna Fash Sassenach—the Frasers return for Starz's Outlander Season 7, which the cast describes the biggest since the first.

Caitriona Balfe, Sam Heughan, Sophie Skelton, Richard Rankin, and the Outlander cast discussed Fraser's Ridge on the Tribeca Film Festival red carpet for Season 7's world premiere.

In the action-packed first episode, "A Life Well Lost," Claire is in jail, Jamie is searching for her, and someone is willing to die to save her.

As the drama enters the Revolutionary War, clothing and settings impress.

The return of historical personalities and fresh faces makes this season "epic" according to executive producer Maril Davis.

Davis: "This show has so many colors this season." "Everyone has an amazing storyline, we have multiple storylines, multiple time periods, it's epic."

After executive producing episode one of the time traveling saga nearly a decade ago, Balfe and Heughan have grown in roles.

This season represents Balfe's directorial debut."

As the season goes on... there's a couple of episodes where just like the shock of 'what is happening' and having to go back and reading it in the book and being like, 'OK, wait how do we do this?'"
