Travis Kelce expresses his feelings to Bill Belichick after Chiefs-Patriots game.

Following Sunday's Kansas City Chiefs victory against the New England Patriots, Travis Kelce was seen having a somewhat private chat with Bill Belichick.

There is still uncertainty around Belichick's short- and long-term future, as there are several circulating reports regarding his potential 25th season return to Foxborough.

Uncertain about his future plans, Kelce stated on his "New Heights" podcast alongside Philadelphia Eagles brother Jason that he merely wished to honor the illustrious mentor.

"I just mentioned how much I respect him and how much it’s always the biggest challenge I go up against in the National Football League is going up against one of his defenses," Kelce stated in the show. "

I just wanted to confirm that was what I said. Going up against him for all these years has been enjoyable.

"To be honest, I was just walking up to him to show my respect for the ten years that I have been competing against him and to express how much I value the challenge each and every time. I salute him for his unwavering excellence."

In the 2018 AFC Championship, Kelce's Chiefs fell short against Belichick and the Patriots. In the end, Tom Brady won his sixth Super Bowl, the final one he would win with New England.

Kelce was limited to just 28 receiving yards on five catches during the game this past weekend.
