Transfer requests abound for Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney as Arsenal goalkeeper Arthur Okonkwo returns to Wrexham

Transfer requests for Arthur Okonkwo have flooded Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney since his return to Wrexham.

Ever since he joined the Red Dragons on a season-long loan back in September, the goalkeeper owned by Arsenal has gained a lot of admirers.

In his 13 League Two appearances, he has five clean sheets for the Welsh team.

To the delight of Wrexham manager Phil Parkinson, who also lost Rob Lainton to knee surgery

Okonkwo has been cleared to return to SToK Racecourse after being forced back to his parent club for treatment due to a jaw injury.

Wrexham supporters are delighted to see Okonkwo in North Wales, with an official social media post

Okonkwo is only tied to a contract at Arsenal through to the summer of 2024, meaning that some big decisions on his future are fast approaching.

He has caught the eye while at Wrexham – with his efforts being noted elsewhere

But there may be a chance for the Red Dragons to do a deal at some stage.
