One of the best parts of visiting a new place is trying all the different kinds of food that are available there. These urban centers are famous all over the globe for their excellent cuisine, which includes traditional fare,

creative takes on old recipes, modern twists on old favorites, Michelin-starred restaurants, and regional specialties. Here are the best ten places to chow down on some delicious pizza, smoky BBQ, juicy tacos, and unforgettable cheesecake.

5. Malaga, Spain. Malaga's time is ending. It was voted Europe's friendliest town, and now it's a top dining destination. Try the most famous dish, sardinella. Beachside chiringuitos cook them perfectly. Other locations serve ajo blanco, or white gazpacho, a cold soup made with bread, almonds, garlic, and olive oil, or gazpachuelo, a fish soup. Many traditional nibbles and a sweet Málaga Virgen wine can start your dinner.

4. Mexico City. Mexico City, one of North America's most interesting cuisine cities, is introducing Mexican gastronomy to the world. Enjoy smooth tuna tostadas, colorful ceviche, melt-in-your-mouth beef brisket tacos, chicken enchiladas, and loads of mezcal. There are cantinas for cocktails, spicy snacks, and good times, old-school coffeehouses for caffeine, cutting-edge fine dining establishments, and great street cuisine.

3. Naples, Italy. Pizza, pizza, pizza. Eat that in this seductive southern Italian port city. This pizza has light, soft dough, juicy San Marzano tomatoes, olive oil, creamy buffalo mozzarella, and fresh basil. Many restaurants use creative toppings, but sometimes simple is best. After basic pizza, try pizza fritta, pastries, and thick ragu.

2. Tel Aviv, Israel. This seaside city is famous for its nightlife, beaches, and superb food. From street food and farm-to-table cooking to Michelin-starred restaurants and everything in between, nearly 4,000 restaurants provide it everything. Falafel, shawarma, shakshuka, and humous are must-eats among the international cuisine. Many soulful fire-cooked meals feature cauliflower, beets, and sweet potato served in brown paper with a cool beer.
