Ja Morant’s injury update: Will he play in game 2 against the Lakers?

The Los Angeles Lakers dealt the Memphis Grizzlies two blows in their first-round playoff matchup

Their star player left the court hurt after they lost. There’s a lot of tension between the two teams coming into this one,

which is to say both camps will be eager to put one over on the other. The issue at hand is that Memphis' best player was forced to leave the game during a loss due to an injury.

For head coach Taylor Jenkins and his team, the first game of the Los Angeles Lakers vs. Memphis Grizzlies 2023 NBA Playoffs round one ended on a very low note.

In addition to losing the first game 128–112, Grizzlies star Ja Morant left the court in the middle of the fourth quarter due to what looked to be a hand injury.

In an attempt to dunk on Anthony Davis, Morant assaulted the rim. But the big man lacked it, and there was a collision in midair.

Morant stumbled and appeared to injure his hand while attempting to break his fall. After being led to the locker room, the playmaker for the Grizzlies vanished from sight.

According to preliminary reports, Morant's scan results indicate that his right hand does not have significant damage.
