Ja Morant's Game-Winning Shot Is Going Viral In Grizzlies-Pelicans Game

The Memphis Grizzlies took on the New Orleans Pelicans in Louisiana on Tuesday evening.

Ja Morant returned to the starting lineup after being suspended for the first 25 games of the season.

The Pelicans led by 19 points at halftime, but the Grizzlies rallied to win the game.

Morant had the ball for the final possession of the game, and with the score knotted at 113-113, he made a shot as the buzzer rang to give the Grizzlies a 115-113 victory.

Morant ended with 34 points, six rebounds, eight assists, two steals, and one block in 35 minutes of action, shooting 12/24 from the field.

He just finished a season in which he averaged 26.2 points, 5.9 rebounds, 8.1 assists, and 1.1

steals per game while shooting 46.6% from the floor in 61 games.  The Grizzlies won to stop a five-game losing streak and improve to 7-19 in their first 26 games.

They have suffered significantly without Morant, so his return to the lineup might substantially alter their season.
