Grizzlies' Ja Morant facing multiple allegations of violent behavior

Ja Morant of the Memphis Grizzlies has recently made headlines. His play on the court has been outstanding, including a triple-

double against the Los Angeles Lakers on Tuesday night. The Grizzlies' star point guard, on the other hand, is dealing with legal issues.

According to Molly Hensley-Clancy of The Washington Post, Morant is facing multiple allegations of violent behavior, according to a new report released on Wednesday

"NBA star Ja Morant was accused of threatening or violent behavior in two police reports, including previously unknown allegations

that Morant "threatened" a mall security director." Four days later, a teenager told police Morant repeatedly punched him."

Ja Morant was previously reported to be facing a lawsuit for allegedly striking a minor during a pickup basketball game earlier this year,

and this report expands on that encounter and more. Morant was also recently in the news

after associates of his allegedly made Indiana Pacers staffers feel as if they were in "grave danger" following a game in a truly bizarre incident.

None of this bodes well for the Grizzlies' star, and it appears that there is a pattern of behavior here that needs to be addressed. This news comes on the same day Morant was announced as the new face of Powerade.

This will undoubtedly be a source of concern for Ja Morant in the future. It's unclear whether he'll face a suspension as a result of this, but we'll keep you updated as more information becomes available.
