Deion Sanders, Colorado Buffaloes Land Talented Linebacker From The Transfer Portal

The offseason for Deion Sanders and the Colorado Buffaloes has been up and down. The transfers have here,

and Coach Prime has done it again. Former Florida State linebacker DJ Lundy confirmed his commitment to the Buffaloes on social media.

Lundy had a highly fruitful year for the Seminoles in 2023. He recorded 54 tackles, six for a loss, and two sacks. Surprisingly,

Lundy was also deployed in certain offensive packages and scored two touchdowns. It is only the sixth time in college football history that a player had one running score,

one receiving touchdown, and 40 tackles in the same season. Lundy has one year of eligibility remaining and gives the Buffaloes an immediate boost.

Sanders clearly prioritizes the transfer portal over the recruiting trail. The low number of high school athletes that signed at the end of the year has received a lot of attention.

The 2024 transfer portal class, on the other hand, is one of the best in the country. In the past, this was not the way to create a team,

but the college football landscape has changed. Building a program may appear different, and fresh ideas may work.
