After domestic abuse conviction, Marvel dismisses Jonathan Majors.

After being convicted of assaulting his then-girlfriend, Marvel Studios dropped Emmy-nominated actor Jonathan Majors.

A New York jury convicted 34-year-old Majors assaulted and harassed British choreographer Grace Jabbari after an argument in March on Monday.

Marvel announced it would no longer cooperate with the actor after the verdict.

February sentences for Majors might result in a year in prison.

It's a shocking tumble for a Hollywood star set to star in numerous Marvel flicks.

Majors played Marvel villain Kang the Conqueror. He starred in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania in February and Loki, presently in its second season on Disney+.

He was scheduled to star in Avengers: The Kang Dynasty, which Marvel has delayed. He would reprise the role in Avengers: Secret Wars.

Marvel Studios may replace him with another actor or write him out of the flicks.
